The Centre for Food Policy is in the School of Community & Health Sciences at City University London. The Centre for Food Policy conducts teaching, research, consultancy and policy engagement on food policy in relation to all stages of the food supply chain and the impacts on human/public health, the environment, social justice and the public good. It runs a taught MSc programme and a PhD by research programme in Food Policy.

Profile of staff members working on the project: Dr. David Barling is a Reader in Food Policy. His research area is in food policy and political economy. In particular, the governance and regulation of the agri-food sector and of the food supply. This covers: food security, support regimes and standards-setting at international, EU and UK levels, and food chains and sustainability policy.
