Join our Working Group at the ESRS Congress in Florence 29 July - 1 August

The Foodlinks project is organising a working group at the XXV European Society of Rural Sociology (ESRS) Congress in Florence, Italy. The congress, which is entitled "Rural resilience and vulnerability: the rural as locus of solidarity and conflict in times of crisis" takes place from July 29 to August 1, 2013.

Working Group 6 is about "Understanding interactions between civil society, market, policy and research: towards the construction of sustainable food systems".

The working group organizers welcome papers that analyse the mechanisms through which collaborative strategies, such as civic food networks, urban and regional food strategies and responsible public procurement lead to social innovations.

Abstracts of maximum  400 words can be submitted by by 1st March 2013 through the link on the conference website.

For accepted presentations, extended abstracts of 3-5 pages length (approximately  2000 to 3000 words) are expected to be submitted until 30th June 2013.
